Calling all Dachshunds--Saturday is Doxie Day in Dennis!

2nd annual event offers fun for all

If you are a Dachshund owner or just a fan of the funny little wiener dogs, you won't want to miss the 2nd annual Doxie Day on Saturday, September 26, 2009 beginning at noon (rain date: 9/27/09).

The organizers promise a fun time for all, tail waggin' in fact!  There will be games and activities with prizes award for best costume--oh, your dog's gonna love you for that!

In addition to singing the "Official Dachshund Song" there will be micro chipping, a silent auction and great Dachshund stuff for sale, available for a donation to Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue.

Attendees are asked to bring along unopened pet food, clean used towels and blankets, cat litter and pet toys to be donated to Cape Cod animal shelters.
